Happy Friday! How has your week been? Mine has felt very long…but I’m excited to have the weekend! It’s supposed to get to 70 degrees on Sunday so I can’t wait to go out hiking!
This past week I went to my doctor and had my implanon taken out and replaced with a new one! If you don’t know what implanon is, it’s an implant that acts as birth control. It’s good for 3 years and it’s extremely safe. Obviously, birth control is different for everyone, but I really love mine and I never have to worry! It’s way better than taking a pill every single day (which I was really bad about. Yikes!) My arm is pretty bruised and sore today, but hopefully it heals up soon!
The past week I have been reflecting on things that I do have, rather than things I don’t, which people tend to focus on more. I realized I’m pretty lucky- I’m healthy, I have a roof over my head, a loving husband (with a good job!), a sweet furry family, and I live the comfortable lifestyle that I’ve always wanted. Sometimes it’s easy to forget these things…so I challenge you to think of the things you DO have, and remind yourself that you are special, and lucky! There’s nobody else like you in the history of the world…don’t forget that! Have a lovely weekend!
Happy Monday! Glad I stopped by! I’m SO inspired by this look! Gorgeous, as always!!

Seems like you have your life sorted with a happy husband and furry friend ^_^ to me, family is goals and much more important than wealth or any luxurious product. :)))

This outfit is absolutely pretty!
Reflecting on things you have is absolutely a great practice!

thank you! it’s easy to forget about the things you do have- I think writing them down every now and then is good!
Great look and the surroundings are beautiful! Love the positive note of this post x

Can I just say that as someone who works in sexual health, it totally made my day to see you writing about your experiences with the implant??! Like seriously, that’s awesome. Also so happy to hear that you’ve found something that works for you so well.
Wishing you a lovely weekend ❤

Thanks! I love talking about it with anyone who has questions ( I also like to freak people out and get them to touch my arm because you can feel it, heh!). I hope you had a great weekend!
